Cameroon’s Lifanka elected CPA chair for three-year term Staff Correspondent, bdnews24.com Published: 2017-11-07 15:48:14 BdST Cameroon National Assembly Deputy Speaker Emilia Monjowa Lifanka has been elected to chair the executive committee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.

Lifanka, who is currently the vice chairman of the committee, will be taking over from current Chairperson, Bangladesh Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury. 
She was elected for a three-year term by delegates from various commonwealth nations at the 63rd Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, or CPA, at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Tuesday.
