If that was the case

K C Milan

I woke up as early as I usually do everyday except some exceptions.
I came out for a morning walk that I do almost everyday for my health sake.
That was early morning in sense of time.
I saw people in few number many of them were like me walking but rest were seen getting preparation to start their business.
I went back home, had breakfast, spent sometimes and came out again.

By this time people of different professions came to get to their respective offices or work places, shops were open, different type of vehicles started moving by the different roads and ways.
I was heading by a Rickshaw for a shopping mall at the centre point of city. Nothing odd I found anywhere.
On the contrary everything is in right place I observed.
I did not see or hear what happened in several hours I was getting preparation for a long travel to Kawnia in Rangpur district of Bangladesh.
I was looking out through the window of a long journey bus and enjoying the beauty of nature on the way to Kawnia in Rangpur.
Probably I forgot everything of practical life and lost myself somewhere in lash green spacious nature on both sides of the road.
It was out of attention how far the bus has run and how long it would still run to take me to Rail Gate at Kawnia.
But my sense returned when the bus stopped all of a sudden somewhere on road.
Along with others I noticed a huge number people most of them are young with sticks and other local weapons in hand gathered on road blocking movement of vehicles.
Sometime later I came to know from one of local people that two groups of people belonging to two big political parties of the country locked into a clash to gain supremacy over a particular locality.
To do so they were so angry that they would not hesitate to beat or even kill their opponents.
This is the thing that is to political gain for them but for me a source to recall such kind of some other incidents and think over.
To gain personal interest I have seen quarrel, dispute, envy, hatred even among brothers and sisters of same blood.
I have seen discrimination, disparities, classification among people. There are so many people in our society who are deprived of their rights. A lot of people, I have seen, everywhere being despised and dishonored by some other people of this society. There are so many people around us who are zealots and blinds in religion get angered over trifle things and do inhumanity. Recent attack and burning at least 25 houses of Hindu community at the village of Thakurpara under Gangachhara union of Joldhaka upazilla in Nilphamari district is one of its proof.
But the number of people who are friendly, kind, sympathetic, generous in many areas and giver is not less.
If I go a bit deeper into my own experience I must say I am not an organized man. I do a lot of wrongs. But whenever I did wrongs I received help , assistance, advice or whatever necessary I need to make a correction.
I have shown my misbehavior and did injustice to many but got unconditional forgiveness from them.
This is what I was thinking silently it will be better for not only for us and our country but also for the whole world if love, compassion, friendliness, forgiveness. sympathy, help, generosity, tolerance are increased and shown instead of hatred, envy. enmity, accusation, hardness, intolerance. distance, difference etc
